IT System Engineer SENIOR (m/f/d)

You are looking for a new challenge as a Senior IT System Engineer and have already gained experience in this role. In this position, you take responsibility for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems. You are responsible for ensuring system stability and security and work closely with other teams to develop solutions for complex IT problems. You contribute your skills and experience to continuously improve and optimise the IT systems. You are an important part of the IT team and contribute to the successful implementation of IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- You ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure at all locations
- In this role, you are responsible for server, network, storage, backup, and cloud environments
- As a Senior IT System Engineer, you further develop Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Teams, and SharePoint
- You take responsibility for IT security topics in the infrastructure environment
- In this role, you lead the IT System Engineering team with 4 employees both professionally and personally
- You analyse and resolve complex faults as a technical escalation point
Qualifications:
- You have completed training as an IT specialist
- You have at least 10 years of professional experience as a System Engineer
- You have sound knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Windows Server, and client management
- You possess very good knowledge in the areas of networking, virtualisation, backup, and IT security
- You have several years of experience operating complex IT infrastructures
- You have very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
