Responsibilities:

• Design and further development of powerful IT platforms across on-premises and cloud environments

• Ensuring stable operation of servers, network services, directory services and central IT services

• Further development of virtualisation and container platforms

• Standardisation of technical processes and automation of manual operational procedures

• Development of meaningful monitoring, logging and alerting concepts

• Implementation of lifecycle, patch and configuration management

• Technical leadership or participation in infrastructure modernisations and system migrations

• Analysis of performance issues and sustainable elimination of system bottlenecks

Qualifications:

• Several years of practical experience in supporting and further developing IT platforms

• Broad technical understanding of servers, networks, operating systems and cloud services

• Knowledge of virtualisation, backup concepts and IT security

• Initial or advanced experience with PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform or similar automation solutions

• Understanding of highly available systems, standardised deployments and clean operational processes

• Initiative, interconnected thinking and a solution-oriented working style
