About the job
Police Lavaux is an association of six municipalities in the Lavaux-Oron district, namely Bourg-en-Lavaux, Chexbres, Lutry, Puidoux, Rivaz and Saint-Saphorin, whose main mission is to ensure the protection of people and property in the territory.
Within its Administrative Police Division, the Administrative and Reception Unit (UAA) is the first point of contact for the public, merchants and partners: reception at the Police Headquarters, commercial police authorisations, chancery, management of the port and cemetery of Lutry.
Police Lavaux is currently reorganising this unit to optimise task distribution and improve public service. In this context, it is recruiting:
A Head of the Administrative and Reception Unit,
Deputy to the Head of the Administrative Police Division
(civil position also open to police officers)
General missions
- Lead four people in the Administrative and Reception Unit (commercial police, chancery, reception)
- Substitute for the head of the Administrative Police Division during absences
- Manage the port and the municipal cemetery of Lutry, for administrative aspects
- Establish dashboards and reporting documents for the police force
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the entity’s work processes
Profile sought
- Higher education at Bachelor level (University of Applied Sciences, University or equivalent qualification), ideally in the relevant field or commercial employee CFC, complemented by confirmed professional experience
- Knowledge of public administration is an asset
- Leadership and initial management experience, ideally in leading a team within an administration
- Organisation, administrative rigour, quality and ease of writing
- Analytical, synthesis and simplification skills
- Interpersonal skills and sense of public service
- Exemplarity, discipline and confidentiality
- Proficiency in common IT tools
