Fixed-term Contract First Job - Junior Product Owner

What we will achieve together

Within the Customer Relations Department, you will join the Digital and Customer Experience Unit, a multidisciplinary team composed of digital specialists, customer experience experts, and digital product designers. Supported by experienced professionals, you will discover the entire lifecycle of a digital product, from identifying needs to production deployment and usage analysis, and you will contribute to solutions used by tens of thousands of Geneva customers.

This experience is an excellent opportunity to develop the key skills of a Product Owner in an innovative, practical, and meaningful environment.

Your energy in the service of a sustainable Geneva

As part of your role, you will be responsible for:

• Understanding the needs of customers and business units to contribute to the creation of digital services
  that are simple, useful, and efficient (website, mobile application, customer portals, partner portals, etc.);
• Contributing to the functional definition of digital evolutions by transforming identified needs into
  user journeys, functional briefs, and user stories;
• Collaborating with UX/UI designers to create simple, intuitive interfaces tailored to
  user expectations;
• Supporting development and testing teams throughout the project to facilitate
  understanding of needs and ensure the quality of deliverables;
• Contributing to the preparation of launches for new digital solutions (communication
  materials, documentation, support for internal users);
• Participating in the continuous improvement of existing solutions by analysing user behaviour and
  feedback.

Your personality and skills

Curious and possessing good analytical skills, you enjoy understanding user needs and solving practical problems. You appreciate teamwork and know how to communicate effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Organised and structured, you show initiative and a strong desire to learn. You also have an interest in digital technologies and wish to develop your understanding of information systems and digital product design methods. Initial exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) through your studies, an internship, or a project is an advantage.

Desired education:

• EPF, HEC or university Master’s degree, ideally in one of the following fields: digital and
  innovation, customer experience, information systems, management sciences, project management, or an equivalent qualification.
