Operational Buyer (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to apply your purchasing experience and actively shape the procurement of technical materials? In this position, you combine operational purchasing tasks with the development of supplier relationships and economical procurement solutions.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the demand-oriented supply of materials and coordinate order processing.
You develop purchasing concepts for your material area and optimise collaboration with suppliers.
You conduct price and contract negotiations and ensure economical purchasing conditions.
You review supplier performance regarding quality, costs, and delivery reliability.
You coordinate material requirements with production, engineering, and warehouse and clarify quality-related issues with the responsible departments.
You maintain inventory information and purchasing master data in SAP and ensure their accuracy.
You support the purchasing management in procurement projects and their implementation.
Qualifications:
You have a technical basic education with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ), supplemented by commercial training, and bring at least two years of professional experience in operational purchasing.
You are confident in using MS Office and ERP systems; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
You convince with negotiation skills, communication strength, teamwork, as well as an independent, structured, and reliable working style.
You have native-level German or at least C2 proficiency.
Good English skills are an advantage.
