Technical Facility Coordinator (m/f/d)

For an internationally active company in the life sciences sector in the Basel metropolitan area, we are looking for an experienced and independent individual to strengthen the Facility & Operations department.

In this role, you will take on a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of buildings and infrastructure. You will coordinate external partners, keep an eye on quality, costs and deadlines, and support compliance with internal as well as regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and supervision of external service providers in technical and infrastructural building management
• Ensuring reliable and compliant building operations
• Support and coordination of building, security and surveillance systems
• Participation in occupational safety, environmental and sustainability topics
• Organisation of maintenance, cleaning and other facility services
• Support with procurement as well as management of contracts and operational resources
• Assistance with budgeting, cost control and internal evaluations
• Support during audits, inspections and corresponding documentation
• Analysis and optimisation of existing facility and operational processes

Requirements

• Technical, commercial or comparable training related to facility management or building technology
• Professional experience in facility management, building operations or a comparable function
• Experience in collaboration and management of external service providers
• Knowledge from a quality- or regulatory-driven environment is an advantage
• Good user skills in MS Office / Microsoft 365
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
