Technical Lead Embedded Systems (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you develop hardware-near firmware in C/C++ for embedded systems based on ST microcontrollers and design system architectures for networked embedded solutions. You take on the technical leadership and coordination of development projects with internal and external partners and actively shape new product ranges as well as the setup of the toolchain and infrastructure. Furthermore, you drive the further development of existing products within the product lifecycle, including serialisation and production support. You work interdisciplinarily with electronics and mechanical development and are responsible for structured requirement engineering.
Responsibilities:
You develop hardware-near firmware for embedded systems based on C/C++ and STM32 microcontrollers.
You take on the technical leadership of development projects and coordinate internal teams as well as external development partners.
You design system architectures for networked embedded solutions and document these with appropriate UML diagrams.
You accompany the technical further development of existing products throughout the entire product lifecycle and support serialisation and production launches.
You work closely with the electronics, mechanics, and production departments and coordinate the technical interfaces with external partners.
Qualifications:
You have a completed degree in electrical engineering at bachelor level or a comparable technical qualification.
You bring at least five years of experience in embedded development in an industrial environment.
You are proficient in C/C++ and have practical experience with STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeIDE, and IAR.
You are familiar with CI/CD using Azure DevOps, common debugging tools such as ST-Link and J-Link, as well as unit testing with Ceedling or Tessy.
You have experience in technical project management as well as with interfaces and protocols such as Modbus, NFC, LoRaWAN, SPI, I2C, UART, 0-10V, and 4-20mA. Knowledge of relevant regulations such as CE, EMC, RED, or CRA and experience in series support complete your profile.
