Experienced Technical Estimator (M/F)

Desired profile:

• Advanced technical training in the field of building, construction or building technology
• Proven experience of several years in a similar role in Switzerland
• Excellent proficiency in reading plans and analysing complex technical files
• Strong knowledge of Swiss construction market standards and practices
• Demonstrated experience in preparing tenders and calculating large-scale projects
• Proficiency with common IT tools as well as calculation and tender software; experience with Messerli, WinBau, Sorba or any other similar industry software is an advantage
• Sharp analytical skills, entrepreneurial spirit and excellent priority management
• Ability to defend technical and financial choices with various stakeholders

• Analyse tender documents, plans, specifications and technical requirements
• Carry out measurements and identify technical constraints related to projects
• Develop comprehensive cost studies by proposing optimised technical and economic solutions
• Consult, negotiate and analyse offers from suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare competitive tenders while ensuring project profitability
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, architects, engineers and partners
• Provide technical support to project managers and contribute to the continuous improvement of costing methods
• Maintain ongoing monitoring of materials, construction techniques and market developments
