What is my role?
You develop innovative software concepts for diverse technical challenges and contribute your expertise in automation technology. You take full responsibility from specification through implementation to testing of hardware and software solutions in the control sector. You actively shape the future of software engineering for machine controls and automation solutions and ensure that existing systems run optimally. If there is a problem anywhere, you are on hand to efficiently resolve faults. You create precise technical documentation that guides others. Additionally, you take care of IT systems such as Windows Servers, firewalls, and backups, support SCADA systems and further develop them. You maintain and optimise programming standards and develop internal tools in modern high-level languages such as .NET C# to continuously improve work processes.
What do I need to be successful?
You have completed a technical education with further training as a Technician HF or a Bachelor FH in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or a related field of study. You can demonstrate proven experience in industrial automation and have practical knowledge in PLC programming as well as in the HMI area. As a team-oriented personality, you work effectively in interdisciplinary project teams and are willing to be on site with the customer occasionally. You have experience in commissioning systems and are characterised by an independent, careful and responsible way of working. You enjoy clarifying matters with planners and customers and communicate clearly and solution-oriented.
