A varied position for a technically skilled individual with an interest in IT security, support and modern infrastructure. We are looking for an IT specialist who supports customers with technical issues and at the same time contributes to monitoring and securing their systems.
The role combines security monitoring, incident handling and system support with Microsoft 365, Windows, VDI and firewall technologies. It is therefore particularly suitable for people who want to specifically develop their existing support skills towards cyber security.
Responsibilities:
Participation in the Security Operations Team and monitoring of the deployed monitoring and security systems
Identifying, assessing and handling security events and alerts
Support in incident response as well as in securing and hardening customer environments
Processing and coordination of customer enquiries in 1st and 2nd level support
Administration and support of Windows, Microsoft 365, Horizon, Citrix and Sophos Firewall
Carrying out maintenance, security awareness measures and participation in technical IT projects
Qualifications:
Practical experience in IT support and interest in further development in the field of cyber security
Expertise in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and ideally VDI and firewall technologies
Analytical and solution-oriented thinking when investigating technical and security-relevant incidents
Independent and well-organised working style with high initiative
Respectful and empathetic interaction with customers and team members
Very good German skills and good English skills
