Carpentry Workshop Manager 100% Permanent Contract (M/F/D)
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the carpentry workshop, including production planning, resource allocation, and deadline monitoring
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled carpenters, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Work closely with the design department to interpret project plans and specifications
- Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment and keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe
Profile
- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma in Carpentry or equivalent training
- Proven experience of several years as a carpenter or in a supervisory role within the carpentry industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods used in bespoke carpentry
- Good interpersonal skills and effective communication with clients
