Senior System Engineer Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
You take on the technical management of demanding customer projects around Microsoft Cloud, IT infrastructure, security and modern workplace – from analysing the initial situation through to conception and successful implementation.
Within the Microsoft ecosystem, you manage and optimise Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams and Microsoft Security. This also includes Windows Server, Active Directory as well as hybrid operating models.
When modernising client landscapes, you rely on Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management and Autopilot and accompany the entire client lifecycle as well as migrations to hybrid and cloud-based platforms.
You directly shape technical changes on-site with new and existing customers. Your scope includes network, security, backup, server and storage as well as onboardings, operational takeovers and structured current state analyses.
In ongoing operations, you handle complex issues in 2nd and 3rd level support, create technical documentation and take on further tasks in coordination with your supervisor as needed.
Qualifications:
Several years of experience as a System Engineer focusing on Microsoft technologies and ideally experience in customer projects of an IT service provider.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure as well as confident experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid environments.
Additional knowledge in Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management, Autopilot, Microsoft Security, HPE Server & Storage, Aruba Networking, Fortinet, Sophos or Veeam is an advantage.
An independent, structured and solution-oriented working style combined with experience in analysing and clearly documenting IT infrastructures.
Regular assignments at customer sites are a natural part of the role for you. You hold a category B driving licence and have fluent written and spoken German.
