We are looking for a
Clerk / Caseworker Short-Term Imprisonment 90%
Exciting tasks await:
- Planning and regulation of the enforcement of short sentences up to 3 months and custodial sentences up to 1 year including enforcement in the form of community service
- Issuance of predominantly standardised orders (enforcement orders, arrest warrants, etc.)
- Contact with public prosecutors, prisons, police, courts, enforcement authorities of other cantons
- Providing information and conducting discussions with partly difficult, criminal clients
- Electronic and physical file management (JustThis)
What you bring:
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training with higher requirements
- Specialist further training (federal specialist certificate or CAS) or willingness to complete such training
- Several years of professional experience absolutely required, preferably in criminal and measures enforcement or related fields
- Experience in dealing with difficult clients (telephone, counter, client discussions)
- Language skills in English/French desired

Your working environment
At the Office for the Enforcement of Sentences , the institutions and services are united that primarily deal with criminal and measures enforcement and thus contribute to societal security.
This also includes the Enforcement Services and Probation section, in which court-ordered custodial sentences and criminal measures are enforced. The staff take into account the specific offences, risk potential and development needs of the clients and keep the main goals of reducing recidivism and social integration in mind.
