Linux System Administrator (m/f/d)

In this role, you will take an existing Linux environment to the next level and actively shape its further development. You will work with technologies such as Red Hat Satellite, SUSE Manager and/or Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE) and apply your expertise purposefully. You take responsibility for the stable, secure, and efficient operation of the systems and continuously drive optimisations forward. In doing so, you deepen your expertise in modern Linux and container environments and develop professionally. Through your commitment, you significantly influence the technical direction of the platform.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you take on engineering, management, and operation of the company-wide Linux infrastructures (RHEL, SUSE)
You work in the twelve-member system engineering team
As a Linux System Administrator, you automate and optimise the Linux landscapes via Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform, and SUSE Manager
You operate and further develop the Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE) platform
In this role, you ensure operation and optimise the customers’ Linux infrastructure
As a Linux System Administrator, you periodically take on on-call duties in system engineering
Qualifications:
You bring professional experience in Linux administration/engineering and operations and are confident on the command line
You have experience or interest in Kubernetes and cloud technologies
You possess strong analytical skills with which you quickly identify and constructively solve problems
You communicate clearly and constructively and actively apply what you have learned in practice
You are motivated to continuously learn new things and develop professionally
You have fluent German, good English skills, and ideally a category B driving licence
