Clerk: Patient Management Emergency Centre

The Emergency Centres for Adults and Children / Adolescents at the Inselspital are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Patient management supports the treatment team around the clock in the administrative area. You will strengthen our team in the Emergency Centres for Adults and Children / Adolescents in a 24-hour shift operation.

What to expect

• You reliably record and maintain patient data in the Epic and SAP IS-H systems
• You ensure cost coverage for emergency admissions and thus support a smooth administrative process
• You take over the telephone switchboard of the Inselspital during the night shift and are an important contact point for internal and external enquiries

What you bring

• You have experience in administrative tasks, ideally in a hospital or healthcare environment, and have basic knowledge of social insurance
• You remain calm even in hectic situations, work in a structured manner and keep an overview
• You have good MS Office skills and are confident in handling digital applications
• You communicate professionally and kindly with patients and relatives in German, English and French
• You are flexible and willing to work early, late and night shifts as well as weekend and holiday duties in a 24/7 shift operation
