Mechanical Design Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- Design of three-dimensional housings for cameras, development of test devices and aids
- Conducting collision tests for circuit boards in camera housings in cooperation with electronics designers
- Creation of individual part, assembly, and 3D installation drawings using CAD software
- Preparation of material lists based on CAD data
- Inspection and quality management of manufactured mechanical components
Qualifications:
- Completed apprenticeship as a design engineer EFZ and/or further training as a technician HF
- Expertise in manufacturing techniques, fixture and tool making, as well as metrology
- Knowledge of cooling electronic components, ESD/EMC-compliant design, and optical integration
- Proficient use of SolidWorks
- Knowledge of SolidWorks Composer to support production processes
- Business fluent German skills
