Head of Vocational Training Construction & Project Management
Are you passionate about developing young talent and want to actively shape the future of vocational training? In this versatile leadership role, you will take on personnel and organisational responsibility for the areas of construction and project management within our vocational training. Together with the Head of Apprenticeship, you will further develop innovative training concepts, create optimal conditions for learners and employees, and make an important contribution to the successful implementation of the vocational reform Futuremem. In doing so, you combine leadership strength, strategic thinking and a strong service orientation with a passion for education and technical professions.
This is where you will excel
- You lead, promote and develop the employees in the areas of construction and project management and create a motivating and performance-enhancing working environment
- You are responsible for the strategic and organisational further development of your areas and actively contribute to the implementation and further development of the vocational reform "Futuremem"
- You further develop project management as a key future competence of vocational training and coordinate cross-departmental projects, processes and initiatives
- You ensure optimal planning and control of personnel, resources, budget, cost centres and infrastructure and create economical and future-oriented conditions for training
- You maintain close cooperation with internal clients, specialist departments, HR and external partners and support vocational training in recruitment activities, career orientation events and challenging situations with learners
These are the required skills
- Completed technical vocational training, preferably in the field of construction, engineering or a comparable technical environment, supplemented by relevant higher professional or business management training
- Knowledge of the Swiss vocational training system and in the field of vocational training, as well as experience and enjoyment in supporting young people
- Leadership experience or proven potential to take on a leadership role as well as willingness to complete appropriate leadership training
- Experience in project management and in accompanying change processes as well as a strong understanding of strategic and competence-oriented educational development
- Strong communication skills in German and English
