At Halter, you will work on diverse building projects in Northeastern Switzerland and have the chance to start your career in site management. Together with experienced colleagues, you will learn the construction execution from the ground up and gradually grow into the tasks and responsibilities of a site manager.
Your area of responsibility
You will work closely with an experienced site manager who will introduce you to the tasks and support your development. With increasing experience, you will take on more responsibility in the following areas:
- Managing execution regarding costs, quality, and deadlines
- Coordinating and leading the involved contractors and ensuring a smooth construction process
- Controlling and monitoring execution from scheduling and tenders to successful handover
- Contractor negotiations, construction and coordination meetings, as well as inspections
- Checking execution planning and ensuring quality standards on site
- Developing economical and practical solutions together with the project team
What you bring
- Solid construction-related or craft training, for example as a draughtsperson EFZ, bricklayer, carpenter, or foreman
- Interest in construction execution and motivation to develop towards site management, ideally complemented by initial practical experience on site
- Enjoyment of organisational and administrative tasks as well as good numerical understanding, especially for cost control and construction accounting
- Good user knowledge of common software and interest in digital working methods
- Independent, reliable, and structured working style as well as willingness to take responsibility
- Enjoyment of collaboration with various project participants and very good oral and written German skills
