Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services Team provides consulting services across the entire finance function. To further strengthen our Transaction Accounting and IPO Services Team in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced, team-oriented, motivated and committed individual as a Senior Consultant (80-100%).

• You support and advise our international and national clients from industry, trade and the service sector on accounting issues (OR, Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS and US GAAP)
• You support and advise our clients in the context of complex transactions involving acquisitions, sales and going public. You assist with the representation of acquisitions and the preparation of pro-forma and carve-out reporting.
• You support and advise our clients on accounting changes and conversions (GAAP conversions) as well as on the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• You will be promoted and challenged through learning on the job. You deepen your knowledge and network from mandate to mandate. EY supports you in your further education as well as in your career planning.

What you bring — skills with which you shape the future

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics is required.
• At least two to three years of experience in auditing or financial accounting/controlling.
• Good knowledge of accounting according to IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER and Swiss Code of Obligations.
• Fluency in German and English is a prerequisite.
• Interest in continuous further education in accounting and/or corporate finance.
