Transports Publics du Chablais (TPC) in Aigle employs more than 400 staff and manages four regional railway lines, as well as a bus network covering numerous municipalities in Vaud and Valais.

As part of the growth of our company and the development of our transport offer, a new organisation of our Fleet unit will be implemented to better meet the evolving maintenance needs of our railway and road rolling stock.

In this context, we are looking for a:

SECTION HEAD MAINTENANCE OF RAILWAY ROLLING STOCK (80-100%)

YOUR MISSION

You lead your section and, as such, you manage the staff (approx. 10 people) and are responsible for the maintenance activities of the railway rolling stock. You ensure the reliability of railway vehicles both in terms of safety and quality, notably based on DE-OCF, RTE standards, UTP recommendations, and industry as well as company requirements. You supervise and coordinate the execution of activities also in terms of meeting deadlines and costs. Furthermore, you optimise maintenance activities to contribute to high vehicle availability. You define and ensure the railway maintenance objectives of your section in line with the rolling stock strategy and the goals of the Fleet unit. Moreover, you organise and manage your section’s activities with proactivity but also flexibility during urgent interventions. You identify and apply continuous improvement opportunities. Finally, you create the necessary synergies with other company entities to guarantee good coordination and communication.

YOUR PROFILE

With a basic education in a technical field, you have completed your professional training with higher education (federal certificate or ES diploma) in maintenance. Additionally, you hold a B80 railway licence or are willing to undertake training to obtain it. You have proven experience in team management in the railway or industrial sector. You know how to set priorities and meet deadlines while demonstrating a global vision, proactivity, and rigour in carrying out your tasks. You also have the ability to anticipate issues and implement appropriate solutions, sometimes within tight deadlines. Your listening and communication skills are among your strengths and enable you to unite and develop your team members.
