At this stage, we can tell you that this Swiss company operates in the field of transport and infrastructure, within a demanding technical environment.
It is currently looking for an Electric Foreman to strengthen its team and ensure the smooth running of its workshop.
Challenges
Your challenge will be to manage a team of 6 electricians and guarantee the safety, quality and compliance of the work.
You will have real responsibility for the organisation of the workshop, the coordination of activities and the monitoring of interventions. You will need to ensure the availability of resources, respect deadlines and the proper completion of work.
Beyond management, you will also participate in the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic installations of existing infrastructures.
The position is part of an organisation of 7 workshops, each with its own foreman, and in a context of service development, notably with the intention to establish an on-call service.
Your missions
Management & supervision
Manage and supervise a team of 6 electricians.
Guarantee the safety, quality and compliance of the work.
Organise the team’s activities and ensure the follow-up of interventions.
Support skills development and maintain a professional working environment.
Planning & coordination
Plan, coordinate and manage the workshop’s activities.
Ensure coordination of work by monitoring resources and deadlines.
Collaborate with other workshops and relevant services.
Participate in the establishment and organisation of a future on-call service.
Maintenance & installations
Ensure maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic installations of existing infrastructures.
Identify intervention needs and contribute to problem resolution.
Ensure proper functioning of equipment and compliance with safety requirements.
Undertake any other tasks related to the electrical workshop.
Profile sought
Federal diploma of expert in electrical installation and safety (master) required.
Significant experience in a similar position.
Experience in the industrial sector in Switzerland is a real advantage.
Basic knowledge of PLC programming.
Experience in managing a technical team.
Ability to plan, organise and coordinate workshop activities.
Sense of responsibility, autonomy and decision-making ability.
Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
Knowledge of English and German is desirable.
