As Team Leader Vehicle Diagnostics, you directly contribute to safe, reliable, and customer-oriented mobility in Switzerland. With your team of six diagnosticians, you ensure that technical faults in passenger traffic rolling stock are quickly identified, analysed, and resolved sustainably. Interventions are carried out mobile, at the station and in your assigned area. You combine technical expertise with modern leadership, thus creating the conditions necessary for high availability of our fleet. In this varied role, you take responsibility for employees, processes, and technical developments. You work closely with various specialised departments and actively help shape the future of vehicle diagnostics. What you can move.
- As team leader, you ensure effective vehicle diagnostics at the Biel site and directly contribute to the safe availability of vehicles and systems in strict compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead and develop a team of six diagnosticians and organise mobile interventions at the station and in the field.
- Plan and manage interventions as well as the team’s working hours to ensure staff availability on site.
- In the field, take charge of diagnostic and troubleshooting interventions and actively support your team when the situation requires it.
- Ensure the proper use and functioning of office and site infrastructure.
- In close collaboration with the Helpdesk, maintenance, operations, and other partners, develop sustainable solutions, analyse faults and indicators, and support digitisation projects to improve safety, availability, and reliability.
What you bring.
- With experience in a technical environment, you have the potential and motivation to develop purposefully towards a leadership role.
- You can explain complex technical contexts understandably and make well-founded decisions that you justify clearly and coherently.
- Experience in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, or technical vehicle support is an appreciated asset that you apply in your practice.
- Willingness to work occasionally in shifts, including nights and weekends, demonstrating operational reliability.
- Holder of a completed initial technical training, for example as a mechatronics technician, automation technician, electrician, or comparable profession, you confidently operate in the field.
- You have very good knowledge of German or French at level C1 minimum and communicate fluently in the other language at level B2.
