Zurich Airport operates one of the largest private power grids in Switzerland and ensures the energy supply of a highly available infrastructure around the clock. At the same time, we are driving the transformation towards a climate-neutral energy supply. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual who will be responsible for expanding renewable electricity production, developing intelligent grid infrastructures, and building a future-proof charging infrastructure for electromobility. In this role, you will take on a key role in the further development of our power supply and actively participate in strategic and operational decisions as the deputy head of power supply.

Your job destination

• You lead demanding infrastructure and energy projects from concept to commissioning
• You actively develop the power supply of Zurich Airport and shape the energy transition at one of Switzerland’s most important transport hubs
• You drive the expansion of photovoltaics, charging infrastructure for e-mobility, and other innovative energy solutions
• You are responsible for the design and layout of medium and low voltage systems as well as the further development of our site network
• You support electricity procurement and accompany energy-economic issues with regard to supply security and cost-effectiveness
• As deputy head of power supply, you take on leadership tasks and gain insight into all topics of modern energy supply

Your skills in your luggage

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in planning, developing, or implementing energy or infrastructure projects
• Enjoyment in holistically assessing technical, economic, and strategic issues
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Convincing presence and the ability to bring together different stakeholder groups
