You don’t just want to manage cloud infrastructures, but actively shape them? This position offers the opportunity to technically further develop a modern Microsoft Azure environment, highly automate it and at the same time bring it to a high level of security and availability.
Responsibilities:
Technical responsibility for the stable, secure and scalable operation of an Azure Cloud platform
Planning and implementation of modern cloud infrastructures with Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking and Entra ID
Development and optimisation of hybrid cloud architectures
Building standardized cloud services and reusable infrastructure components
Automation of deployment, configuration and operational processes with PowerShell, Azure Automation and Logic Apps
Implementation of infrastructure-as-code concepts with Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates
Integration of Azure services with Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Dynamics 365
Development and maintenance of API-based interfaces and integration solutions
Implementation of monitoring, logging and alerting concepts with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
Further development of cloud security, identity management and compliance
Implementation of modern approaches such as Zero Trust, Least Privilege and Security by Design
Analysis of complex cloud incidents and conducting sustainable root cause analyses
Optimisation of performance, availability and costs of the Azure platform
Creation and maintenance of technical architecture, operational and security documentation
Evaluation of new Azure services and assessment of their potential for the existing cloud strategy
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science, cloud engineering or comparable qualification
Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure
Very good knowledge of Azure networking, virtual machines, storage and identity
Confident handling of Microsoft Entra ID, IAM and Azure Security
Experience with PowerShell and cloud automation
Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code, for example Terraform or Bicep
Understanding of APIs, cloud integrations and modern integration architectures
Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics or comparable observability solutions
Good knowledge of current cloud security principles
Analytical and conceptual strength
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
Interest in new cloud technologies and continuous technical development
