System Engineer Microsoft & VMware (m/f/d)

Role:
Stable IT infrastructures do not arise by chance, but through experience and sound concepts. This is exactly where you come in as a System Engineer Microsoft & VMware. You are responsible for complex environments at SME clients, drive migrations in the area of virtualisation forward, and bring projects from idea to completion. You switch flexibly between remote work and client appointments. Colleagues with expertise accompany you in this.
Responsibilities:
You ensure reliable operation of demanding customer solutions together with the team
In addition, you update and monitor existing systems, both remotely and on-site
You prepare and carry out migrations of hardware and software infrastructures
This also includes changes in the storage environment as well as backup and restore solutions
You independently design and implement customer projects in the SME segment
Furthermore, you document technical specifications and system documentation
Qualifications:
Your foundation is a completed education in IT systems engineering
A technical or organisational further education at HF or FH level rounds off your profile
You are confident in handling Microsoft server environments and VMware
You have several years of solid experience working with storage and backup systems
You enjoy providing support by phone and remote maintenance in German; additional languages such as English, French or Italian are a plus
Moreover, you convince with conceptual thinking, resilience and enthusiasm for customer assignments, and you hold a driving licence
