Embedded Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

You work closely with machine manufacturers, analyse requirements and develop tailored drive solutions – from design to commissioning. Responsibility and technical depth characterise the daily work. Development of customer-specific software modules for microcontroller-based control systems.
Preparation of technical requirements and conversion into technical specifications as well as robust software architectures.
Implementation of control functions and communication mechanisms for industrial systems.
Programming of real-time firmware on ARM-based application processors and microcontrollers.
Planning and execution of module and system verification as well as technical coordination with electronics, product and application teams.
Qualifications:
Completed university degree in electronics, automation, computer science or a related technical field.
Several years of professional experience in firmware, embedded or hardware-near software development.
Solid programming experience with C as well as familiarity with development tools, debugging and build processes.
Experience with Git, requirements engineering and quality-assured development processes; knowledge of industrial control or drive systems is welcome.
Strong abstraction skills, perseverance and solution-oriented thinking as well as very good German and English skills.
