Role:

Do you want to not only operate cloud infrastructures but also design them as a standardised platform for different product and development teams? In this role, you combine cloud architecture with automation and technical enablement. You develop reusable components for Microsoft Azure, define binding standards, and support various departments in providing cloud resources efficiently, securely, and transparently. You work in an international environment with diverse technological requirements.

Responsibilities:

• You design and further develop the Microsoft Azure platform and ensure a scalable, maintainable, and standardised architecture.

• You develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules that allow infrastructure to be provided automatically and consistently.

• You define platform components, interfaces, and technical guidelines that support product and implementation teams in developing and operating their solutions.

• You advise application, data, AI, development, and infrastructure teams on using the cloud platform.

• You support teams in integrating standardised components into their deployment and operational processes.

• You handle technical service requests and incidents in 2nd and 3rd level support and analyse complex issues.

• You contribute to international projects and support the further development of the cloud architecture and associated operating models.

• You promote knowledge transfer and help make cloud standards understandable and applicable across teams.

Qualifications:

• You have completed IT training with relevant professional experience or a degree in computer science.

• You have solid experience in designing and standardising Microsoft Azure platforms, especially with Landing Zones.

• You understand principles of modern cloud architectures and ideally have experience with other hyperscalers.

• You are proficient with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, as well as Azure DevOps and/or Git.

• You have basic knowledge of Azure AI, Microsoft Foundry, API Management, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• You are familiar with PowerShell, REST APIs, or comparable tools for automation and integration.

• You understand Cloud Operating Models, responsibilities between cloud providers and users, as well as the handover of standardised components to deployment and operations teams.

• You work analytically, structured, and with a high standard of quality.

• You enjoy communicating across team boundaries, sharing your knowledge, and taking responsibility for your tasks.

• You have very good German and English skills at least at level B2.
