Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to design, automate and reliably operate complex cloud platforms? In this position, you will further develop a modern Azure infrastructure that supports demanding software solutions. You will combine cloud architecture with infrastructure as code, automation and site reliability engineering. You will work closely with software development teams and create the technical foundations for secure, scalable and stable production environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, build and operate highly available Microsoft Azure PaaS environments across multiple regions
Automate cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Terragrunt
Further develop the Azure network architecture according to zero-trust principles
Design and standardise company-wide CI/CD pipelines
Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs and error budgets to ensure platform reliability
Build an end-to-end observability solution with telemetry, monitoring and automated alerting
Further develop platform-native identity and access management solutions
Provide technical advice to development teams on cloud architecture and non-functional requirements
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or degree at HF, FH or university level
At least five years of experience operating demanding production environments
Very good knowledge of Azure PaaS, Azure networking, Terraform and Terragrunt
Solid experience with C#/.NET
Understanding of SRE, incident management and reliability metrics
Independent, structured working style and enjoyment of complex technical challenges
Innovative spirit and the ability to critically question and further develop technical solutions
Team-oriented personality with experience in agile working environments
Fluent German language skills
