Role:
As an Accounting Clerk (m/f/d), you are responsible for the efficient and precise handling of all accounting tasks. Your role includes processing financial data, supporting the preparation of reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will be part of a dedicated team and play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of our partner.
Responsibilities:
- Processing incoming and outgoing invoices as well as posting incoming and outgoing payments in the accounting system
- Performing account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial data
- Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with legal requirements and internal guidelines
- Managing asset accounting and depreciation calculations
- Handling accounts payable and receivable, including dunning and clearing open items
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors during audit phases
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems
Qualifications:
- Completed commercial training with a focus on accounting or a similar qualification
- At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a similar environment
- Sound knowledge in the use of accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical skills, teamwork and a high degree of accuracy and diligence in work
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form are required; English skills are an advantage
