Digital Workplace Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
An experienced individual is sought for a versatile IT environment who will technically manage demanding infrastructure and cloud projects and sustainably develop customer environments. The focus is on Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Modern Workplace and hybrid infrastructures, complemented by network, security and support topics.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation of infrastructure, cloud, security and modern workplace projects
Technical responsibility for client, workplace and migration projects
Administration and further development of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online and Teams
Implementation of client lifecycle projects with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management and Autopilot
Migration of existing customer environments to hybrid and cloud-based platforms
Operation and further development of Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid environments
Implementation of network, security, backup and infrastructure projects
Conducting technical analyses, current state assessments and documentation
Accompanying customer onboardings, operational takeovers and modernisation projects
Support in 2nd and 3rd level support
Direct on-site support of new and existing customers
Qualifications:
Several years of experience as a system engineer in the Microsoft environment
Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure
Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid environments
Experience with Intune, Endpoint Management, Autopilot and Microsoft Security is an advantage
Knowledge of HPE Server & Storage, Aruba Networking, Fortinet, Sophos or Veeam is an advantage
Experience in analysing and documenting IT infrastructures
Experience with customer projects in the IT service environment is an advantage
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
Enjoyment of regular customer assignments
Fluent German skills
