Attached to the Vaud Judicial Order, the ten debt collection offices in the canton are responsible for the debt collection procedure, from the notification of the payment order to the collection of the debt or the issuance of the certificate of insolvency. They also maintain various registers and issue extracts from them.

The Debt Collection Office of the West Lausanne district, which employs nearly 30 staff members, is looking for an accounting manager for an OPF.

• Maintain the accounting of cases and ensure follow-up by entering accounting entries and monitoring accounts.
• Provide counter service by informing users about all procedures.
• Prepare account closures according to directives.
• Process payments and issue certificates.
• Collect fees and prepare statements.
• Manage and train team personnel.

• Commercial employee CFC, or any equivalent qualification, ideally complemented by accounting training.
• Module 1 of the General Training Certificate for Enforcement or possibly holder of the OPF Apprentice test with commitment to follow Module 1.
• 2 years of experience in debt collection and/or bankruptcy, ideally in the accounting sector.
• Knowledge of the judicial activity environment and SAP software would be an asset.
• Good stress resistance and ability to communicate in a difficult context.
• Proficiency with IT tools, discretion, accuracy, rigour and autonomy.

As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to present an extract from the debt collection register and criminal record less than 3 months old.
