Mobile Director of Out-of-School Care Structure (80%)

Childcare structures within the school environment (APEMS) represent one of the key links in Lausanne's family policy. Located near schools, the APEMS meet the needs of families in the various districts of the city and are situated in the heart of the neighbourhoods, close to or within the school establishments. They offer quality educational supervision.

The Schools and Out-of-School Service comprises around 40 structures and is about to undergo several changes, leading to an expansion of teams and the number of children cared for. This position aims to replace absent directors or support existing directors and offers a great opportunity to join a stimulating team and contribute to maintaining and developing a caring and professional reception.

Main Mission(s)

Manage the out-of-school care structure to ensure the safety, well-being and quality of services for the children cared for

Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team

Contribute to staff training

Guarantee and assume the administrative and financial management of the structure

Develop an educational project including families, professional and associative partners

Be responsible for the application of the reception concept (downloadable from the website www.lausanne.ch/apems)

Profile

HES or ES diploma recognised by the LAJE (Law on Daycare for Children)

CAS in team management and project leadership (required or to be completed within two years)

Minimum 4 years of professional educational experience in the field of childhood since obtaining the prerequisite qualification

Confirmed professional experience in team management

Professional experience in participatory development of educational projects

Knowledge of issues related to collective out-of-school care is an asset

Proven organisational skills

Leadership ability and team spirit

Systemic vision and critical thinking

High adaptability, mobility and flexibility

Excellent command of MS Office tools

Special Conditions

Clean criminal records (ordinary and special)

Work schedule includes activity during school holidays
