Modern companies require an IT infrastructure that functions reliably, grows with the business requirements, and can be operated securely and efficiently at the same time. In a technically diverse environment, you will find a responsible position where you support customers in further developing their IT landscape and transform your own ideas into sustainable solutions.
As a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you accompany customers from analysing their requirements through to conception, implementation, and support of their IT environments. You work with modern Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, and classic infrastructure components. At the same time, you have the opportunity to independently or collaboratively drive forward demanding projects with an experienced team.
Responsibilities:
Analyse customer requirements and develop suitable IT and infrastructure concepts
Plan, implement, and support Microsoft-based client, server, and cloud environments
Administer and further develop Azure services as well as hybrid IT infrastructures
Participate in demanding infrastructure projects and take on project responsibility
Support and optimise network, security, storage, and workplace components
Provide technical advice to customers and support the continuous development of their IT landscapes
Qualifications:
Completed IT training with corresponding further education or certification in the Microsoft environment
Further education at HF/FH level in computer science is an advantage
Several years of experience with Microsoft client and server technologies
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and modern cloud infrastructures
Solid knowledge of network technologies such as LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and TCP/IP
Customer-oriented and responsible personality with high initiative as well as good German language skills
