About the Position For our client, a leading company in the Swiss healthcare sector, we are seeking a committed individual as a Medication Specialist. In this key role, you will assess complex individual case applications, negotiate pricing models with the pharmaceutical industry, and ensure legally and medically correct service processing.

Your Responsibilities

• Application Review: Independent assessment of complex cost approvals (Art. 71a–d KVV) as well as medications with pricing models in close collaboration with the Medical Advisory Service.

• Negotiation Management: Negotiating prices and discounts with pharmaceutical companies for medications outside the approval/limitation of the specialty list.

• Communication & Decisions: Preparing well-founded, comprehensible justifications and advising internal and external stakeholders as a subject matter expert.

• Interface Function: Central contact person for questions regarding Art. 71a–d KVV and pricing models.

Your Profile

• Basic medical, paramedical or pharmaceutical training.

• Several years of professional experience in the service area of a Swiss health insurance company.

• Further training in commercial fields or social insurance is an advantage.

• Strong in negotiation, networked thinking and argumentative communication.

• Very good German skills (C1/C2); French or English skills are a plus.
