Production Planner IBP Large Livestock

What you achieve

• You create, maintain and optimise short-, medium- and long-term production plans for the hairy animals sector (cattle, veal, lamb)
• You plan and control the slaughtering and cutting process and ensure the optimal utilisation of raw materials with a special focus on securing sausage meat supply
• You coordinate capacities with production sites and flexibly adjust planning in case of deviations, bottlenecks or disruptions
• You monitor inventory levels, identify risks along the value chain early and initiate appropriate measures
• You analyse data and simulate alternative scenarios in case of demand changes, delivery bottlenecks or production failures.
• You work closely with production, sales, purchasing, logistics and other interfaces and actively participate in planning and coordination meetings
• You ensure high product availability and contribute to the economic optimisation of stocks and processes
• You support the continuous development, digitalisation and automation of planning processes in SAP IBP

What you bring

• Education: Completed basic or further training
• Field: Completed vocational training with strong IT and system affinity as well as enthusiasm for data-based planning and process optimisation
• Professional experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar position. Knowledge of the meat industry or food industry is an advantage
• Experience with SAP IBP, SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA as well as very good Excel skills
• Analytical and networked thinking skills as well as a strong understanding of numbers
• Initiative, sense of responsibility and the ability to keep an overview even in a dynamic environment
• Teamwork skills, communication strength and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
• Experience in production, material or supply chain planning is an advantage
• Knowledge of the meat or food industry is desirable but not mandatory
• French (B1)
• German (A2)
• English (ADVANTAGEOUS)
