Head of Accounting and Controlling (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 135,000Role:
For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial-minded leader for the finance department. Our Rocken partner is an established Swiss company in the real estate-related service sector and manages a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. You can expect a professional environment with short decision-making paths, a collegial team, and a long-term oriented corporate culture.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the accounting of the corporate group according to Swiss Code of Obligations including preparation of annual financial statements of the individual companies and natural persons
Responsibility for all tax matters of the group, especially tax returns, real estate capital gains tax and withholding tax
Responsibility for value added tax
Leadership and development of the finance team
Handling of property purchases and sales from the perspective of accounting and taxes
Collaboration with external partners such as auditors, banks and tax authorities
Qualifications:
Completed advanced training in finance or fiduciary services with a focus on accounting and taxes as well as several years of experience in a comparable role
Mandatory professional experience in the real estate industry
Sound knowledge of Swiss accounting according to CO as well as relevant tax laws
Experience in leading and developing a team
Fluent German language skills are required
