Role:

Modern IT platforms, highly available systems, and automated infrastructures are your passion? In this position, you design powerful container and Linux environments, develop scalable platform architectures, and take automation to the next level. An exciting challenge for experienced engineers who like to think ahead technologically.

Responsibilities:

• Technical design and continuous development of modern enterprise platforms based on Linux and Kubernetes

• Architecture, operation, and optimisation of scalable container infrastructures with Rancher, Helm, and ArgoCD

• Development of automated deployment and configuration processes following infrastructure-as-code principles

• Design and implementation of efficient automation solutions with Ansible and Python

• Building and further developing highly available network and traffic management solutions with HAProxy and Traefik

• Ensuring end-to-end system transparency through modern monitoring and observability architectures

• Integration and optimisation of central logging and data analysis platforms with Splunk and Cribl

• Technical support of container-based application environments as well as relational database platforms

• Development and implementation of platform standards regarding security, performance, availability, and scalability

• Assuming technical responsibility in demanding infrastructure and transformation projects

• Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex error patterns at engineering and architecture level

Qualifications:

• Higher education or solid practical experience in computer science, system engineering, or platform development

• Several years of professional experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Linux Engineer, or Kubernetes Specialist

• Very good knowledge of Linux system landscapes and automated infrastructure management

• Solid practical experience with Ansible and Infrastructure as Code

• Very good knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies

• Experience with Rancher, Helm, and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD

• Knowledge of reverse proxies and load-balancing technologies such as HAProxy or Traefik

• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix

• Knowledge in handling centralised logging systems, ideally Splunk or Cribl

• Basic knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or MySQL

• Programming skills in Python or Go are a plus

• Understanding of modern security concepts, CI/CD, and automated operational processes
