Quality Management Officer Digital and Precision Laboratory Diagnostics 80-100%

Your main tasks
- Maintenance, monitoring, and further development of the quality management system in an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory, management and control of documents
- Identifying optimisation potential and continuous improvement, standardisation and harmonisation of workflows and processes within the institute
- Collaboration in harmonising the QM systems of the USZ laboratories as part of establishing the future joint centre for laboratory medicine
- Planning, preparation, and support of internal and external audits and assistance in implementing resulting measures
- Assessment of risks in pre-analytics, analytics, and post-analytics, analysis of errors, deviations, and complaints, support in developing solutions for nonconformities
- Responsibility for the Critical Incident Reporting System (CIRS)
- Development of quality indicators and quality management reports
- Support in managing external quality controls
- Collaboration with laboratory physicians and biomedical analysts. Training the laboratory team in QM topics and promoting quality awareness
Your profile
- Completed training as a biomedical analyst HF, biomedical laboratory diagnostician FH, or scientific university degree with practical experience in a medical diagnostic laboratory
- Experience and/or further training in quality management in a regulated environment
- You are familiar with the quality requirements of medical laboratory tests and ideally have experience with the ISO 15189 standard
- Very good MS Office skills
- Experience with laboratory and hospital IT systems is an advantage
- You show initiative, take responsibility, and are willing to develop personally and professionally
- You convince with very good communication skills
- You have very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
