Role:
Modern workplaces arise where cloud and local infrastructure work seamlessly together. This is exactly where you, as an Azure & Microsoft 365 Engineer, come in and technically bring customer environments up to date. The focus is on Microsoft 365 (M365), Entra ID, and hybrid server landscapes. Variety characterises your daily work, as each environment presents different challenges. With your expertise, you design solutions that truly work in operation.
Responsibilities:
You independently plan, manage, and technically implement infrastructure, cloud, security, and workplace projects.
You continuously develop Microsoft 365 with Exchange Online, Teams, and Microsoft’s security features.
You are also responsible for the entire client lifecycle, which you efficiently manage with Intune and Autopilot.
During onboardings and operational takeovers, you analyse existing systems, document the current state, and migrate them to hybrid or cloud platforms.
You operate Windows Server and Active Directory and implement projects related to network, backup, and security.
Furthermore, you support 2nd and 3rd level support with complex cases and are the direct contact person for customers on site.
Qualifications:
You have at least several years of experience as an engineer in the Microsoft environment.
You are confident with Entra ID, Azure, and the Microsoft cloud and possess solid knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and hybrid setups.
Knowledge of endpoint management, Microsoft security, Fortinet or Sophos firewalls, backup software, as well as common server, storage, and network hardware is desirable.
Ideally, you have already implemented customer projects at an IT service provider.
You record IT landscapes in a structured manner and document them comprehensibly.
Additionally, you work independently and solution-oriented, enjoy visiting customers, and hold a category B driving licence for the company vehicle.
