You develop modern IT infrastructures further and support customers in implementing powerful, stable, and future-proof solutions. You move between classic infrastructure engineering, cloud technologies, and demanding customer projects. From conception through implementation to ongoing operation, you contribute your know-how and actively shape technical solutions.
Your tasks
Responsibilities:
You plan and implement modern infrastructure solutions in the areas of server, storage, backup, virtualisation, and cloud
You support and optimise existing customer environments and continuously develop them further
You implement projects with technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Microsoft Azure
You analyse technical requirements and develop suitable architecture and solution concepts
You assist with migrations, lifecycle projects, and the introduction of new technologies
You contribute your expertise early in project phases and support technical concepts as well as pre-sales activities
You work closely with customers, manufacturers, and internal specialists
Qualifications:
You have completed training or further education in computer science, system technology, or a comparable qualification
You have practical experience with server, storage, and virtualisation solutions
You are familiar with VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure, and backup technologies
Ideally, you have experience with platforms and products from Dell EMC, Lenovo, IBM, NetApp, Nutanix, Rubrik, or Veeam
You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner
You convince through your customer orientation and your ability to communicate technical topics clearly
You communicate confidently in German and are willing to support customers on site in the region
