Kitchen Assistant M/F

Your tasks:

• Participate in setting up the kitchen before service

• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and prepare ingredients

• Carry out simple preparations according to the kitchen staff’s instructions

• Assist cooks in plating dishes and ensuring smooth service

• Take part in receiving, checking and storing goods

• Ensure proper preservation of products and stock rotation

• Clean work surfaces, utensils and equipment; assist with dishwashing as needed

• Apply hygiene, food safety and waste sorting instructions

Profile sought:

• Some experience in kitchen, collective catering or food preparation is appreciated

• Interest in cooking and willingness to learn

• Energy, punctuality and reliability

• Organisational skills and ability to follow instructions

• Team spirit and ability to maintain neat work during busy periods

• Attention to cleanliness and respect for hygiene rules

• Good understanding of French to communicate with the team and follow instructions

• Availability for variable hours, including evenings and weekends according to the establishment’s needs
