Customs Declarant Import & Export (m/f/d)

Role:
In this position, you will take on versatile tasks in international customs clearance and support various corporate divisions with customs-related queries. You will combine your expertise with modern digital solutions and contribute to the continuous optimisation of customs clearance processes.
Responsibilities:
You independently handle import and export customs clearances and ensure correct processing.
You support internal companies and business units with questions regarding Swiss and European customs law.
You check customs tariff numbers, trade agreements, and applicable customs regulations, taking into account relevant customs quotas.
You contribute to the further development of digital and AI-supported customs clearance processes.
You participate in cross-functional projects to optimise customs clearance.
You assist with customs-related risk analyses and continuously develop existing procedures.
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) or hold a comparable qualification.
You bring at least five years of professional experience in customs declaration or a comparable role.
You possess sound knowledge of Swiss and international customs law as well as import and export processing.
You demonstrate reliability, a sense of responsibility, an independent working style, and a strong customer and service orientation.
You speak German at a native level and have good knowledge of French and English.
