In this role, you apply your solid expertise in finance and accounting to get the best out of digitalisation for customers. Together with external support, you take responsibility for accurate and reliable bookkeeping and ensure smooth processes. You critically question existing processes, develop them further, and introduce new, more efficient procedures if necessary. Ideally, you also work in related areas such as personnel administration (payroll, changes) and general administration. Thanks to your experience, you act independently, in a structured manner, and contribute significantly to a professional, modern finance organisation.
Responsibilities:
You manage the financial accounting together with an external trustee
You handle accounts payable and receivable including dunning and take care of monthly and quarterly invoicing
You process payment transactions (prepare and execute payment runs, incoming payments)
You prepare VAT and social security statements as well as quarterly and annual financial statements, each together with the external trustee
You support the budgeting and forecasting process
You assist with payroll accounting, social security accounting, and HR changes (employment contracts, entries and exits, hours/holiday control, expense claims)
You take on further administrative tasks
Qualifications:
You bring proven practical bookkeeping experience relevant to the role
You have a solid education in finance and accounting (commercial basic training, further education in finance & accounting advantageous or ongoing)
You are characterised by a trustworthy, flexible, resilient, and team-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality
You work precisely and reliably
Experience with Abacus is an advantage but not mandatory
You communicate at native level (C2) in German
