About Cydonia Construction SA

Cydonia Construction SA, a general contracting company based in Grand-Lancy and a member of the Cydonia Group, supports the realisation of residential property projects from our own development in French-speaking Switzerland.

As part of the development of our activities, we are strengthening our team and looking for a Site Manager wishing to commit to varied projects and grow in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and human-scale environment.

Your mission

Reporting to the company management, you will ensure the operational management of your sites, from preparation to handover.

Your main responsibilities will notably include:

• Preparing and organising sites in collaboration with the project teams;
• Planning and coordinating the interventions of contractors and subcontractors;
• Ensuring the technical, administrative and financial follow-up of the works;
• Ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines and quality requirements;
• Controlling the progress of the works and anticipating potential difficulties;
• Participating in site meetings with the various stakeholders;
• Ensuring coordination with architects, representatives, contractors and suppliers;
• Monitoring situations, measurements, additional works and accounts;
• Participating in the handover of works and the follow-up of defect rectifications;
• Ensuring compliance with safety rules as well as applicable standards and norms, notably SIA standards.

Your profile

Above all, we are looking for a reliable, autonomous and committed person with proven experience in general contracting.

Ideally, you have:

• Engineering degree essential, ideally in construction or civil engineering;
• 3 to 7 years of experience in site management required, ideally in residential construction;
• Experience in general contracting / turnkey contracting essential, ideally in Switzerland;
• Good knowledge of cost, deadline and quality monitoring;
• Good command of SIA standards and construction practices in Switzerland is a plus;
• An established network with companies, subcontractors and representatives in the region is a real asset;
• Excellent command of French;
• Good command of common IT tools.
