You don’t just want to operate IT systems but actively shape an entire IT landscape? In this versatile key role, you combine strategic responsibility, leadership, and operational system engineering. Together with your team, you ensure that the IT infrastructure functions securely, modernly, and reliably – and you continuously develop it further.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the stable operation and further development of the IT infrastructure
Administration and support of network, firewall, physical and virtual servers, as well as Microsoft cloud environments
Active participation in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support
Analysis and sustainable resolution of system faults
Development and implementation of the IT strategy as well as management of IT projects
Technical and personnel leadership of one IT employee
Coordination and management of external IT service providers and partners
Responsibility for IT security, data protection, and cyber resilience
Optimisation of IT processes and technical standards
Consulting school management and specialist departments on IT matters
Responsibility for IT planning and budgeting
Qualifications:
You ensure the stable and secure operation of the entire IT infrastructure and develop it strategically and operationally.
You actively work in system engineering and support networks, firewalls, physical and virtual servers, as well as Microsoft cloud solutions.
You support users and specialist departments in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support and ensure quick and sustainable resolution of faults.
You further develop the IT strategy and implement it together with the organisation into concrete technical solutions and projects.
You lead IT projects from planning through implementation to successful introduction.
You provide technical and personnel leadership to one IT employee and support them specifically in their professional and personal development.
You coordinate external IT service providers, partners, and suppliers and ensure professional collaboration.
You are responsible for topics such as IT security, data protection, and cyber resilience and continuously develop corresponding processes.
You optimise existing IT processes and ensure sustainable technical standards.
You competently advise school management and internal specialist departments on strategic and operational IT issues.
You plan and are responsible for the IT budget and deploy resources purposefully.
