The tumour documentation is part of the Clinical Program (CP) of the Comprehensive Cancer Center Zurich (CCCZ) at USZ. It provides a reliable data basis for quality assurance, certification, and the further development of our oncological care. For the Head and Neck Tumour Centre, we are looking for a committed individual who documents, verifies, and analyses medical data in a structured manner and supports the centre with quality-related issues.

Tumour Documentalist: Head and Neck Tumour Centre 70-80%

Your main tasks
- You document clinical data of patients with head and neck tumours in OnkoStar and ensure their completeness and plausibility.
- You evaluate relevant key figures and data for the Head and Neck Tumour Centre and prepare them for quality and certification purposes.
- You support the Head and Neck Tumour Centre in the annual certification according to the requirements of the German Cancer Society (DKG).
- You work closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team, the centre coordination, and the Clinical Program of the CCCZ.
- You maintain quality-relevant documents in the management system and support the further development of standardised documentation processes.
Your profile
- You have a medical or scientific education or a comparable qualification with good anatomical and biological fundamentals.
- You bring a basic medical or oncological understanding as well as confident knowledge of medical terminology.
- You work very carefully, structured, and reliably and enjoy working with medical data.
- You are confident in various IT systems, have very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and quickly familiarise yourself with new applications.
Advantageous:
- Experience in tumour documentation, quality management, or the oncological environment
- Knowledge of OnkoStar as well as experience with clinical information systems and medical databases
- Experience with DKG certifications and/or ISO-based quality management systems
