Mechanical Design Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF65,000 - 85,000Responsibilities:
- Optimisation and expansion of the product portfolio
- Implementation of change processes and phase-out management for company-owned components
- Analysis of feasibility and costs for innovation projects
- Definition of technical specifications for operating instructions
- Execution and documentation of product tests (internal/external)
- Development and approval of manufacturing documents as well as test protocols
- Market analysis to identify new product innovations
- Technical support and troubleshooting in after-sales service
- Definition of spare parts for current and future products
Qualifications:
- Completed training as a draftsman, polymechanic or plant and apparatus builder, supplemented by a degree as a mechanical engineer FH/ETH or technician TS
- Several years of professional experience in design, especially in process engineering (e.g. valves, agitators)
- Competence in creating drawings
- Confident handling of common standards in mechanical and plant engineering
- Knowledge in the use of 3D CAD programmes such as SolidWorks as well as AutoCAD Mechanical (2D)
- Fluent German and English skills
