Lead System Engineer (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous development of modern VMware and virtualisation platforms.
You manage and optimise backup and disaster recovery solutions, for example based on Veeam, and ensure the recoverability of business-critical systems.
You implement, administer, and further develop security solutions in the areas of network security, PAM, XDR, SIEM, and Zero Trust.
You actively participate in the development and implementation of information security concepts, technical protective measures, and security policies.
You integrate and operate Microsoft 365 and Azure services and ensure their seamless integration into the existing IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
You have completed a qualification in computer science, ideally complemented by a degree in business informatics or a comparable further education.
You bring solid knowledge in VMware, virtualisation, and Veeam as well as in modern IT security technologies such as PAM, XDR, SIEM, SOC, and Zero Trust.
You are familiar with Microsoft 365 and Azure and are interested in further developing secure and high-performance IT infrastructures.
You possess strong analytical skills and approach technical challenges in a structured, solution-oriented, and forward-looking manner.
You work independently, reliably, and team-oriented and enjoy contributing in a demanding technical environment while continuously expanding your expertise.
