Team Leader in Engineering Plant Construction

In this versatile role, you lead the design and electrical planning team in the Engineering Plant Construction department, coordinate internal and external partners, and ensure that our projects are implemented technically, economically, and on schedule. You bring in your expertise as well as your leadership skills and passion for innovative solutions.

What to expect

• You lead our design & electrical planning team both professionally and personally and continuously develop employees and processes.
• Together with internal and external partners, you plan and coordinate the production of mechanical & electrical components.
• For our projects, assembly, and operation, you create and are responsible for design, schematic, disposition, and wiring documents. You independently work on suitable concepts in the projects using Inventor and Engineering Base.
• You create assembly, work, and production instructions and ensure complete plant documentation.
• The evaluation and timely procurement of standard and special materials as well as the awarding of workshop orders to internal and external parties are your responsibility.
• In addition to checking and accompanying designs and equipment at suppliers and on construction sites, you represent EKZ towards suppliers. You actively contribute your expertise in technical committees.

What you bring

• A completed education at HF, TS, or FH level with a mechanical focus and knowledge in electrical engineering distinguishes you. Furthermore, you convince with several years of experience in design or plant construction.
• You are well acquainted with the relevant standards and regulations, especially NIN, VSM standards, and the Swiss Federal Electricity Act. In addition, you work confidently and efficiently with AutoCAD, Inventor (3D), and ideally Engineering Base.
• You have already gained leadership experience or have the potential and motivation to successfully lead a team.
• Besides indispensable German skills in spoken and written form, you bring clear communication and a confident appearance. Moreover, you greatly enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders.
