Head of Finance and Accounting (m/f)

Together with your team, you ensure a reliable finance and accounting function, are responsible for the financial statements, develop processes and employees further, and act as a competent sparring partner for management, audit, and corporate departments.

Your Responsibilities

• Professional and personnel management of the finance and accounting department
• Ensuring correct general and subsidiary ledger accounting
• Responsibility and operational involvement in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Management of payment transactions as well as monitoring liquidity and receivables
• Ensuring correct VAT and tax processing
• Contact person for audit, tax consulting, banks, authorities, and corporate departments
• Further development and optimisation of financial processes, internal controls (ICS), and digitalisation projects
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal corporate requirements
• Close cooperation with controlling, HR, IT, and other specialist departments
• Leadership, coaching, and development of employees as well as active support in daily operations

Your Profile

• Completed higher education in finance and accounting (HF, FH, federal specialist certificate or comparable further training)
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting with leadership responsibility
• Solid practical experience in Swiss accounting (OR), including annual financial statements and VAT
• Experience dealing with audit firms, banks, and external stakeholders
• IFRS knowledge is an advantage
• Strong affinity for numbers as well as a structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a pronounced sense of responsibility
• Clear communication, leadership strength, and enjoyment in collaborating with diverse stakeholders
• Very good German skills, both spoken and written
• Good French skills are an advantage; English skills facilitate collaboration in the international corporate environment
